A Circus Chimera Fan

I am so disappointed and sad that Circus Chimera had to cancel it's 2008 touring season. My family is a huge fan after seeing last year's performances in San Jose, California! The H-2B Workers bill must be extended, not just for the circus, but for all American businesses that are struggling in this economy.

I may be a clown going feet-first out of the cannon...the political arena and single ring scene are new territory for me...but this is such an inspirational issue I had to try (see http://boxof16.blogspot.com/2008/04/flash.html). We should be all about teamwork and selfless talent; the present legislation will likely worsen many issues in the long run. In this game, we need to even the score before we can improve our standing.

After Writing and recieving a response from Diane Feinstein ..She informed me that her concern was the agJOBs issue for farmers that s-988 was on the back burner. Her interest was workers for farmers to maintain a high quality food supply for the United Staes. Wonder if she thinks we're serving garbage. Did she think about the number of FARM PRODUCTS we CONCESSIONAIRES ARE BUYING.. tHEY REALLY NEED TO QUIT PUTTING THE HORSE BEFORE THE CART. We don't need the FARM PRODUCTS IF WE CAN'T OPERATE DUE TO LACK OF STAFF.

Have sent letters, emails, made calls, and even met with Judy Biggert. She was very positive and seemed to be very open to helping us. I am afraid that with it being an election year that we don't stand a chance of getting our workers. I hope I am wrong.
